by SpeedLux

The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) which will start from 13th January next year in Detroit has recently announced that there will be at least 18 global debuts at the show.

The organizers however declined to give further details about the news but did confirm that we will see global debuts from some of the great automakers that include Acura, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Cadillac, Chrysler, Ford, GMC, Hyundai, Kia, Lexus, Mercedes, Nissan, Subaru, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo. The organizers further stated that we can expect the models to cover virtually every segment which would include concepts, luxury, sports / performance, crossovers, trucks, SUVs and alternative fuel technologies.

The automakers have also not given much detail of which models would be launched at NAIAS as they may be focusing on SEMA and the Los Angeles Auto Show. But there have been rumors that there could be debuts of models like BMW M3 / M4, the Ford Mustang and the Lexus RC-F.

As of now we will have to wait for further details to be revealed but we can surely expect that the show would give a good start to the coming year 2014 and we see a great year ahead for the auto sector!
