2010 Mercedes SLS AMG promotional video and crash test

by Alex

Mercedes SLS AMG is one of the most interesting supercars you can buy next year. Inspired by the legendary 300SL Gullwing it features front-mid mounted 6.3-liter V8 that produces 563 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque.

Power is transferred to rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) comes in around 3.8 seconds with the help of Race Start launch control function. Top speed is 315 km/h (196 mph).

Below we have two new videos. First one is a promotional video showing the SLS AMG on the track, where you can also hear the awesome sound of the 6.3-liter V8. In the second video you can see how the SLS AMG handles a crash test.
