2011 Armored Maybach Guard: safety with unmatched luxury

For those who wish to combine safety with supreme luxury, there is the armored version of a car from Maybach which is known for its ultra luxurious cars. The car is based on the 62 version and named Maybach Guard. German engineers Sindelfingen have installed the integrated safety system on board this car.

The body of the car is made up of highly specialized steel and high-tech Kevlar which has been integrated into the body shell. With all this additional armor the car yet weighs 460 kg more than the standard version. There has been no need therefore to change the drive train, suspension or the braking system of the car.

The car can do top speeds of 155 mph and requires just 5.7 seconds for the 0 to 60 mph run.

Production of the car would be carried out at the Sindelfingen production plant after the protective features have been integrated. At the production plant the car would be worked upon by specialists to deliver the best standards in individualization process.
