2011 Audi R8 V10 Biturbo from MTM

by Alex

A prototype had been sighted a few months ago outside the premises of MTM‘s German Head quarter building. The name Audi R8 V10 was the name attached to the prototype. The car was supposed to be having tremendous power under its hood. The prototype seems to have reached the production stage and would be up on display at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show event.

The tuning firm elected for the 5.0 L V10 engine which they have also used on their Audi RS6 Clubsport model. The RS6 engine could develop a power that was way less than that developed by the R8 BiTurbo which stands at 777 hp and 888 Nm of torque. This also means the car can speed up from 0 to 60 mph in 3.0 seconds and from 0 to 124 mph in 9.37 seconds. Top speed of the car is 217 mph.

The tuning firm also applied their mind and effects to get a shiny and mirrored effect of a sports car to the Audi. They worked for 700 hours to get the paint removed and apply a fresh coat as well as place an adjustable rear spoiler, a front lip, and MTM Bimoto 20 inch forged rims. For interior leather fittings and finish was applied to the R8.

The cost the MTM have placed for this done up car is out $550,000.
