2011 BMW ConnectedDrive Concept is a revolutionary new concept

by Alex

Auto makers have started dishing out ideas that are impressive given the fact that the Geneva Motor Show event is now just round the corner. Ferrari has their FF concept to talk about and then BMW announced the surprise information of the ConnectedDrive Concept Vehicle. This one is supposed to create a revolution in the auto world due to the comfort, infotainment and safety features that the car incorporates in it.

BMW has not given out much other details of this car to be. Given the name they have selected it can be assumed to a great degree of accuracy that the car would have communication facility between each other as well.

BMW in its official presentation of the car says “In 2011 the automobile industry is celebrating the anniversary “125 years of the automobile,” reason enough to not only look back, but also to look forward. Connectivity is one of the key fields of tomorrow’s world. And of course, we at BMW are proud to be among the pioneers of connected driving: for example, with the first on-board internet access in 2008, the first iPod integration in 2004, or the first ultrasound-based park distance control PDC in 1991.”

Car making industry is taking a turn and the future of this industry is going to be marked by the year 2011. BMW, with their ConnectedDrive concept is one of the turning point markers. BMW has done this before and this one would for sure be another of these markers.
