The 2011 X3 SUV’s pricing was recently released by BMW. The 2011 X3 is the latest in the BMW sports sedan line up of cars. This pricing announcement came from the Italian division of BMW for the SUV versions of the vehicle. Note that the SUV version is expected to be launched and arrive in the market only in late November. The prices would therefore, be applicable post launch of the vehicle.
The BMW X3 will make its debut at the Paris Auto Show to be held in September this year. The car would initially be offered with only two engines options viz. a 2.0 liter diesel engine and a 3.0 engine, each delivering a different power and torque levels.
The 2.0 liter diesel engine (X3 xDrive2.0d) churns out over 184 hp of power with over 380 NM torque level for the SUV. The second engine, the 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged petrol straight six (X3 xDrive35i) delivers about 306 hp of power. The max torque level produced by this engine is measured at 400 Nm.
The 3.0 liter twin-turbo petrol engine would be rolled out in the US version of the SUV. The US market would however, lose an aspirated 3.0 liter straight six a diesel engine (X3 xDrive28i) that produces 240 hp and 311 Nm of torque output. The existing model was priced lower than this new model.
The newer version of xDrive20d model sells for €46,900 as against the current version, which is priced €42,850. Similarly, the xDrive35i’s latest model is costs starting at €56,600 whereas the current model pricing starts at €53,500.
