2011 Frankfurt Motor Show Preview: Eterniti Motors, The Newest Luxury Brand On The Market To Come With A SUV

by Sebastian Bivin

Although “Eterniti” might sound a little familiar to you, you must know that this luxury brand has nothing to do with “Infiniti”.

This luxury SUV crossover from Britain’s newest luxury car brand – Eterniti Motors – will be launched at next month’s Frankfurt motor show and you can preview here in this early design sketch, will be the first model from the London-based firm.
This $250k luxury crossover, with some new ideas, it’s coming from Britain, not China.

An Eterniti spokesman stated for Autocar that the company would produce “bespoke high-level luxury vehicles with high quality, hand-crafted interiors” and there are plans for a range of future models, with the SUV likely to be followed by a supercar, according to Autocar.

“We will be first in the segment,” said the Errniti spokesman. He also added that other manufacturers would also be going into the super-luxury SUV segment proved there was a demand for such cars in emerging markets. Being pretty optimistic, Eterniti expect to sell more than 100 units per year and to become a strong opponent in this niche.

Even is the British company has not named the model used as base, this crossover uses “elements of other vehicles” in its underpinnings. Unfortunately, so far no details of engines or engine partners were announced, although Eterniti did confirm the cars would be “high performance”.

The teaser video on Eterniti’s website (you can watch it below) appears to give the luxury SUV’s name away as ‘Hemera’.

Finally, according to Autocar, Eterniti is a British-registered company and is backed by a group of international investors. Beside this, the team involved in the car has experience with luxury cars and Eterniti would be revealing who is involved, along with more details on the car itself, in the build-up to the Frankfurt show.

The SUV will be a rival to the Aston Martin Lagona and the upcoming Bentley SUV, and is expected to have a price tag of around £150,000.
