2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe GT Limited Edition Unveiled: Specs and Price

by Ionut Dragomir

In order to celebrate the company’s participation at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring race this year Hyundai has put together a special edition Genesis Coupe, called GT. Unfortunately, it’s only for Germany.

This beauty was actually designed by Hyundai Germany, as a sort of tribute to Hyundai Schuhmann Motor Sport Team, who entered a Genesis Coupe at this year’s Nurburgring 24 Hours.

The 2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe GT Limited Edition is powered by a 3.8 liter V6 engine which is developing 299 hp and 361 Nm of torque (266 lb-ft), making the car accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds and giving it a top speed of 240 km/h (149 mph).

The car gets a bespoke stainless steel quad-exhaust, racing stripes all over it and Genesis GT written on the sides, lowered suspension by 30mm, plus 19-inch OZ wheels in graphite silver and Dunlop tires.

Considering all these, the results are a 0-60 time of 6.3 seconds and a top speed of 149mph.

Price: €41,990
Specs: only 50 unites will be available in Germany
