2011 Kia Sportage Preview

by Alex

It has been known for years that the words Kia and sexy shouldn’t be used in the same sentence. However the Korean automaker is finally focusing not only on affordability, but style as well. As evidence on this shift in R&D, we present to you the preview of the 2011 Kia Sportage which will debut later this year at the Geneva Motor Show.

This third generation Sportage will finally take the crown as the leader of the compact crossover field in terms of appearance and styling. That means that it puts this squarely against the likes of the Ford Edge, Rav4, CR-V and other crossovers that have been receiving high claims in recent years for the aggressive styling.

It is said that the Sportage will be powered by the same 2.4-liter engine found in the Hyundai Tucson. Other than that, everything else will have to wait until Geneva next month.

WTF? Is this blog about luxury and performance cars? Wonder are we getting KIA news now as the site is sold or are new owners little crazy?

btw. check KIa’s web site, it will be available with diesel and petrol units, not just 2.4-liter one.

if you write about Kia change the name of the site. I am gone if you continue such crap.
