2011 Lincoln MKX

by Alex

Remember the MKX from Lincoln? Well said vehicle has gotten an extensive redesign and is starting to take on a look of its own (something different then the Ford Edge). The newly redesigned vehicle will be hitting showrooms this summer and will include standard technologies such as a V6 engine as well as a much needed facelift which is bound to strike you as a Lincoln trademark.

The front end wheel arches have been raised a bit and there is a more fluid design to the overall appearance of the vehicle. There are new LED headlights as well as a larger exhaust and a complete exterior change.

On the inside we get some awesome technologies such as the new MyLincoln system which controls entertainment, climate, dual LCD’s, iTunes tagging via Microsoft Sync, voice activated navigation and HD radio receivers.

There is adaptive cruise control, a new 305 hp 280 lb-ftV6 engine and an automatic transmission that allows manual gear shifting functions.

Expect the 2011 MKX to start at just shy of $40,000 when it goes on sale later this summer.
