Porsche has not officially announced yet the sticker price for the 2011 Cayenne but their official website states that the base model of the new Porsche SUV kicks off at $46,700.
The base Cayenne model depends on a V6 powerplant with a displacement of 3.6L and can output about 300 horsepower. The engine is coupled with the car manufacturer’s Tiptronic transmission with eight speeds. The 2011 Cayenne has an expected fuel mileage of 9.9L for every 100 kilometers or about 28.5mpg imp.
The Cayenne S runs on a 4.8L V8 that can give out 400 hp. This version is priced starting at $63,700. The S variant returns a fuel consumption of 10.5L/100 km or 26.9mpg imp.
The first hybrid of the brand, the Cayenne S Hybrid will be offered from $67,700 and uses the combo of a supercharged 3.0L V6 and electric motor. The hybrid Porsche SUV can deliver 333 horsepower while the 47 horsepower electric motor delivers the optimal torque at low revs.
The top of the line Cayenne Turbo running on a V8 4.8L bitrubo powerplant has a sticker price starting at $104,800. The flagship SUV has a fuel consumption of 11.5L for every 100 kilometers or 27.6mpg imp.
