2012 Fiat Doblo XL Cargo Van (Fiat Launches Doblo XL Cargo Van in UK)

Fiat just launched in their the Doblo XL cargo van range for the United Kingdom. The new XL model, probably stands for ‘Extra Large’. This model follows the Doblo Work Up launched last year.

The new 2012 Fiat Doblo XL cargo van is both longer and larger than the standard Doblo and has a larger cargo bay, with a total volume of 5.0 cubic meter. The new Doblo XL can carry a payload weighing 1,000kg or 2,205 lbs.

Fiat says that the new Doblo XL is a model that fill in the gap between the Purpose Built Van and Small Panel Van segments and believes the Doblo XL will likely be choosen by customers looking for a choice in the latter segment, Doblo XL offers “the same load capacity and payload (1 Ton) but at a lower price”.

The Fiat Doblo XL will come in three turbodiesel engine variants, which includes the 1.6 MultiJet delivering 105hp, a 2.0 MultJet unit with 135hp and a 1.6 MultiJet unit capable of 90hp.

With its increase in load volume, ease of loading, low fuel consumption, reduced operating costs, safety and comfort, the Doblo XL will appeal to a variety of customers including utilities, service vehicles (with ladder stored internally), converters and wheelchair-accessible transport for example.

Fiat Professional’s Doblo Cargo Bi-Link suspension ensures a smooth ride, and its range of environmentally-friendly Euro 5-compliant engines makes it cleaner and cheaper to run.

The New Doblo XL will be available in Cargo N1, Combi N1 and M1 versions and as with the existing Doblo Cargo and Combi range, the Doblo XL will be available in two trim levels.

The Features that the new Fiat 2012 Doblo XL Cargo Van has: the Doblo XL include Air Conditioning, Anti-Theft System, Central Locking, Immobiliser, Cloth Upholstery, Head Restraints, Bulkhead, Twin Sliding Doors, High Roof, CD Player, Electric Front Windows etc.
The new Doblo XL will also come with a few option features like Handsfree Blue&Me System, Blue & Me TomTom Navigator and Eco:Drive Professional Software.

For those who are looking forward to own one Doblo from Fiat, the Fiat Doblo cargo van range will definately come to the United States and Canada, and The Fiat owned Chrysler brand has confirmed that it will be bringing the Doblo cargo van range to North America by early 2013.

Fiat is offering the new Doblo XL cargo van in the United Kingdom for a starting price of £15,765.00 for the Doblo XL Cargo Base 1.6 MultiJet 16v Diesel 105 hp.
The Doblo XL Combi SX M12.0 MultiJet 16v Diesel version will start at £19,045.00.
