2013 Audi A6 Allroad 150 luxury off-road wagons for Australia

The all new Audi A6 Quattro has arrived at dealerships in Australian, making it a Premium off road vehicle. Audi Australia said it is just going to bring in a total of 150 cars, of the third-generation A6 Allroad wagons, with prices soaring from $117,900 before on-road cost, and making it $11,000 more than the old model.

With the availability of the all new Audi A6 Avant back in the month of June, this year, it was pegged at $81,800-$82,900, which teamed 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines with a continuously variable transmission and front-wheel drive, whereas the Allroad comes with a more powerful Diesel engine, with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and quattro all-paw grip.

The all new 2013 Audi A6 Allroad features a 3.0-litre TDI engine, producing 180kW of power (4000-4500rpm) and 580Nm of torque (1750-2500rpm), which propels the vehicle to do a 0-100km/h in 6.6 seconds and with that it delivers a top speed of 236km/h. Despite a hike of 4kW/80Nm performance in compared to the previous allroad model, the combined fuel consumption falls 16% to 6.3 l/100km, and with a adoption of stop-start engine technology, with average CO2 emissions are rated at 165g/km.

The 2013 Audi A6 Allroad is 60mm higher than the standard A6 wagon, and the visual differenciation is by its flared grey wheel arches, lower panel edges, chrome-slatted grille,stainless steel front and rear underbody protection panels, silver roof rails and flattened tailpipes. Other features standard on the exterior includes a 20-inch alloy wheels, xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, electrically folding anti-glare side mirrors, electrically operated tailgate and metallic/pearl-effect paint options.

An Adaptive Air Suspension allows the A6 Allroad to be raised 35mm, or it can be lowered 15mm witha push of a button, the boot of the 2013 Audi A6 Allroad offers a storage of 565 litres, which extends upto 1680 litres, when the seats are folded, the Audi A6 Allroad also boasts of a 2500kg braked/750kg unbraked towing capacity.

The interior of the all new Audi A6 Allroad features, four-zone climate control, smart key, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, black leather upholstery and black cloth headliner, heated electric front seats. The Infotainment system features a 10-speaker 180-watt audio system with 8.0-inch high-resolution display screen, MMI touchpad, hard drive navigation, 60GB hard disk, two SD card readers and Bluetooth connectivity. Standard assistance system includes, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors and a rear-view camera, while a number of other advanced systems are available as an option.

As mentioned earlier, the all new Audi A6 Allroad is priced at $117,900.
