by SpeedLux

Making its debut in March at the Geneva Motor Show along with the hatchback version, the pro_cee’d GT has already been bared showing a more aggressive body kit with a new front bumper and bigger air intakes.

It also boasts LED headlamps and red accents, while the honeycomb grille sports a “GT” logo.
Moreover the hotter version of the pro_cee’d has beefier side skirts, a redesigned rear bumper and a black roof.

Compared to the normal version, the GT model comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and a lower and stiffer suspension.
The front brake discs measure 300x28mm while the rear ones are 262x10mm with red calipers.
Although cabin photos are absent, the interior gets aluminum pedals, Recaro sport seats and a new trim.

It is confirmed that the pro_cee’d GT will be powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged GDI engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
Its output is expected to be 200 hp (149 kW) and 265 Nm (195 lb-ft), sufficient for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 7.9 seconds.

With production slated to begin in mid-May, the 2013 Kia pro_cee’d GT will likely cost 23,000 GBP.

We need to learn more about the concept so stay tuned and have a look at the pictures.
