Japanese automaker Mazda has announced the UK pricing of the 2013 Mazda3 MPS, which is known as the MazdaSpeed3 in North America. The new Mazda which comes with decent changes in comparison to the previous version is pegged at £23,995.
The new Mazda3 MPS will now be available in four exterior colours-Aluminium Silver, Black Mica, Crystal White Pearlescent and Velocity Red.
And the other upgrades featured are, the new graphics on the tail lamps and a new gunmetal finishing for the 18-inch alloy wheels, for the inner roof spoiler a Black Mica Finishing, a change in door mirrors, and lower rear bumper trim, are some of the features that have been upgraded on the new Mazda3.
The Drivetrain figures of this new Mazda3 MPS features a 2.3-liter turbocharged four cylinder engine gushing out a power of 256bhp to the front wheels and which is mated to a six-speed manual transmission with wider spaced gear ratios and a Limited Slip Differential. The new Mazda3 MPS is capable of doing a 0 to 60mph run in 6.1 seconds and a top speed of 155mph.
While the automaker announced about the new Mazda3 MPS, they also added that 2 new Models, namely, Tamura and Venture will be available with 1.6-liter petrol and diesel engines, which will join the permanent range of the regular Mazda3 MPS.
The new Tamura Edition of the Mazda3 comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, Sports styling kit, front fog lights, electric windows, six-speaker audio system, dual zone climate control air-conditioning, front, side and curtain airbags and a Thatcham Cat 1 alarm.
And the Venture Models gets light gunmetal alloys wheels, a unique rear spoiler, privacy glass, 5.8-inch Sanyo TomTom navigation, Bluetooth hands-free, automatic lights and wipers, cruise control and heated front sports seats.
