2013 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S gushing out 550Hp

Porsche has added a 7th version of the most Iconic model, the Cayenne SUV, which is the fatest and most expensive model from Porsche. The new Porsche Cayenne Turbo S has added itself with 50hp more, along with that some standard features has been taken from the standard Cayenne Turbo. This being the 7th model, their line-up looks like this: The 300-hp Cayenne V-6, the 240-hp Cayenne Diesel, the 400-hp Cayenne S, the 380-hp Cayenne S Hybrid, the 420-hp Cayenne GTS, the 500-hp Cayenne Turbo, and lastly this brand new 550-hp Cayenne Turbo S.

The new Porsche Cayenne Turbo S comes with a twin-turbocharged 4.8-liter V-8 engine, which now produces 550 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque, up from 500 hp and 516 lb-ft in the standard Porsche Cayenne Turbo. This figure would help the new Porsche Turbo S to do a 0-60mph run in 4.3 Seconds and with that a top speed of 175mph.

The standard features which keeps a track of the engine and the suspension on the new Porsche CAyenne Turbo S are, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, Porsche Torque Vectoring, and Power Steering Plus. PDCC(Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control) adjusts the suspensions to reduce the body roll, the PTV( Porsche Torque Vectoring) helps in locking the rear diffrential, and it also empowers to take sharp turns with the help of the inside-rear brake, and Power Steering Plus helps in changing the power assistance needed depending on the vehicle speed. Along with all these standard features, there are two more thinsg to be noted, a eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive option.

The new Porsche Cayenne Turbo S is also equipped with the Sport Chrono package which comes as a standard feature, which includes an analog and digital timer placed at the center of the dashboard. The performance display informs the insiders about the total driving time, lap distance covered so far and individual lap times. It also shows latitudinal and longitudinal acceleration via the TFT display in the instrument cluster.

To distinguish the new Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, from other S model, Porsche has added few perquisites which include, glossy-black trim to the front air inlets, and rear view mirror, it adds a 21-inch 911 Turbo II-style wheels with gloss black accents, and fits a pair of polished aluminium dual exhaust tips.

Inside the car, customers get a choice of Black/Carrera Red and Black/Luxor Beige leather upholstery, it features an exclusive combination of contrasting colors and pieces that are further accented by deviated stitching throughout. Front and rear seats feature the Porsche Crest embossed on the headrests while the roof is covered in Alcantara from front to rear. And the instrument panel, door, and center console trim showcase the standard Carbon Fiber interior package that further complements the exclusive interior.

The new Porsche Cayenne Turbo S goes on sale in the U.S next year with a price tag of $146,975 (including a $975 destination charge) which makes it the most expensive Porsche SUV!
