2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible gets noticed

by SpeedLux

Chevrolet has disclosed initial images of the car and it happens to be the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible.

It was only last month that Chevrolet had some sketchy images of the convertible version of the Stingray released just before the official unveiling scheduled for March 5 in Geneva. Now it is being rolled down in a new avatar.

To be frank we are unable to see the car’s details, but everything seems good. We’ll just have to wait a couple of days more until it is disclosed. The first car will be auctioned in April and the proceeds will go to a cancer institute.

Power will get boost from the 6.2-liter V8 engine with about 450 hp (336 kW) and 609 Nm (450 lb-ft) of torque. It is likely to be slower than the coupe which can cover 0-62 mph journey in less than four seconds.

So the convertible will make its entry at Geneva so till then stay tuned and for the time being do not forget to browse the pictures.
