2014 Lexus IS exposed formally

by SpeedLux

A foreign website has leaked some batch of pictures of the brand new IS sedan ahead of its official debut at the Detroit Auto Show.

Though the photos have been leaked, major part of the information is still a secret and will be revealed on the launch day.

This particular model is 70 mm longer than the old IS and that it’s been fitted with an eight-speed auto. The US version will offer the choice between a base 2.5-liter with about 210 hp and a 3.5-liter V6 with 306 hp, just like the GS 350.

“At Lexus, we strive for partnerships that bring the most advanced connected vehicle technologies to our customers at a great value,” said Sandy Lobenstein, vice president, Connected Vehicle Technology and Planning. “As a result of our partnership with iBiquity, our owners will be the first in the industry to have access to subscription-free real-time traffic and weather data on multimedia systems across our vehicle lineup.”

The website has spilled all the photos of this model to the media just before the auto show at Detroit . Nothing is clear right now and one has to wait till the show begins

Enjoy the pictures in the meantime.
