Nissan has recently announced that the 2014 GT-R Track Edition has gone on sale in the United States for an amount of $115,710.

The 2014 Nissan GT-R Track Edition costs approx $ 16,000 more than the GT-R Premium and is described as a supercar that is even closer to a pure motorsports competition machine.

The model comes with features such as carbon fiber air ducts, brake cooling guides and forged aluminum wheels wrapped with Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT 600 DSST CTT ultra high performance run-flat tires. The model is also equipped with a carbon fiber rear spoiler and a sport-tuned suspension with higher spring rates and special Bilstein DampTronic shock absorbers.

In the interiors, the cabin gets two-tone Recaro sport seats and a quilted cloth mat that resides where rear seats are normally located.

The power is provided by a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine that is capable of generating 545 hp (406 kW) and 463 lb-ft (627 Nm) of torque. It is well connected to a six-speed dual clutch transmission that changes gears in just 0.15 seconds.

The 2014 Nissan GT-R Track Edition is available currently and as per the company the production would be restricted to just 150 units.
