2014 Porsche 911 Targa rendered based on patent pics

by SpeedLux

Well known tuner X-Tomi Design has recently rendered the 2014 Porsche 911 Targa on the basis of recent leaked patent photos of the model.

Just few days back a batch of patent pics with the 991 generation Targa had surfaced on the net showing what could be expected from the model and that it will likely get its first public outing in Geneva Motor Show in March 2014. On the basis of these pics, X-Tomi Design has been quick to grab the opportunity of creating a render of what could the model look like.

We can expect Porsche to infuse some retro flavor into the latest 911 Targa which will surely make those people happy who went for the classic versions. It will come with a thick B-pillar and a fixed glass rear window while at its heart the power will be provided by a 3.4-liter flat-six engine with an output of 350 HP (257 kW) and a 3.8-liter mill rated at 400 HP (294 kW) in the Targa S.

Well the rendering looks pretty good but how close it is to the final model we will only come to know in due course of time.
