2014 Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet Karmann debuts at the AMI show

by Max Richardson

Volkswagen has unveiled the Beetle Cabriolet Karmann Special Edition at AMI Leipzig.

The Beetle Karmann edition is paying tribute to the body manufacturing company Karmann, which between 1949 and 1980, produced many Beetle Cabriolet cars for Volkswagen.

The special edition will be available in seven exterior colors and a unique Sioux Brown power folding soft top. There are also special badges and 18-inch Disc-style alloy wheels.

The cockptit reveals two-tone sport seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, alloy pedals, matte aluminum dashboard, Karmann-branded door sill plates and a wind deflector.

The Beetle Cabriolet Karmann Edition will be available to order next month and will be offered with all the gasoline and diesel engine and different transmission options.
