2014 Volvo S80 Facelift Spotted in China

by SpeedLux

Sometime back we had reported that, Volvo, the Swedish company are planning to come up with two refreshed models of their sedan line-up, the S60 and the S80, as per the statement that were made by Doug Speck, global head of marketing and sales for Volvo Car, told that the Swedish company is preparing a facelift for both the S60 and S80 sedans.

And now, very recently, our sources sent us the pictures of the camouflage-free prototype of the updated S80, which is a China-market only version of the car sporting a 140mm or 5.5-inches longer wheelbase. So, the same changes, will also be applied to the 2014 S80 when it is launched next year in Europe and America. Up at the front we see an inclusion of a re-shaped front grille with horizontal chrome slits that also appear on the new lower grille of the redesigned bumper, also the new alloy wheels and the re-sculptured rear bumper with chrome trims and more stylish exhaust pipes, making it more sporty.

Stay tuned and look out for the refreshed Volvo S80 to make its appearance at the Detroit Motor Show in January or at the Geneva Salon in March, until then take a look at the leaked images.
