2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS facelift spied hiding updated taillights

by SpeedLux

A prototype of the 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS facelift has been recently caught on camera while undergoing testing hiding minor revisions.

The stylish coupe which is a four-door model is preparing for a minor revision for the 2015 model year which will bring a redesigned front bumper and some tweaks to the taillights. There have been some spy images earlier as well that have shown that the rear bumper will also undergo minor surgery but maybe that change is only reserved to the AMG variant.

Again based on some of the earlier spy shots, the cabin will adopt a redesigned steering wheel as well as a larger COMAND display and knob. Engines will most likely be carried over from the current model, including the range-topping CLS 63 AMG S-Model with its V8 5.5-liter twin-turbo mill with an output of 585 HP (430 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque.

The details are yet to be confirmed by the company as of now but we know that the modestly facelifted CLS lineup will be introduced towards the end of this year and so expect more details to be out in the coming months.
