2016 BMW M2 Comes with 370 hp Engine

The 2016 BMW M2 will replace the 1 Series M Coupe that was launched several years ago. There are many similar features between the BMW M2 and 1 Series M Coupe such as M tuned engines. The N55 engine will be used in the BMW M2. It is speculated that it will be equipped with a 3.0 liter turbocharged inline-six engine that generate a maximum power output of 370 hp and a maximum torque of 500 Nm. The BMW M2 may feature a 6 speed manual transmission or 7 speed dual clutch automatic transmission. It will also have a DCT gearbox.

The interior of the car will feature stitching with contrast colors. There are only a few interior color schemes to choose from. It will have the same luxury features such as Harman/Kardon speaker, heated seats and LED headlight. The standard model will feature a carbon fiber trim pack. The M2 will be slightly bigger and heavier than the 1 Series M Coupe. Some of the color options for the BMW M2 are Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Long Beach, Blue and Mineral Grey. All the specifications of the car will be revealed at the upcoming 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show that will be held at 17th September.
