2016 Honda Civic Spotted Testing

Honda has recently debuted the 10th generation Honda Civic at the 2015 New York Auto Show. The new Honda Civic was spotted testing numerous times. There have been many leaked patent images on the interior and exterior of the car. The new Honda Civic will have a sportier look. Although it is a coupe, it looks very much like a four door sedan. The car resembles the Acura ILX, which has almost similar specifications with the Honda Civic.

The cabin layout will be the same as the previous model. The steering wheel will have more buttons. The infotainment display screen is situated beneath the air vents in the center. It will be available in a six speed MT or CVT transmission system.

The 2016 Honda Civic will be powered by a 1.5 liter turbo VYEC engine that can generate a maximum power of 148 bhp and a maximum torque of 203 Nm. The Honda Civic will also be available in a 2.0 liter option for customers in the USA. The European version will be equipped with a 1.6 liter I-DTEC diesel unit. Some of the safety equipments it features are adaptive cruise control, and collision mitigation braking. The 2016 Honda Civic is expected to enter into the US market in 2015.
