Alpine A110 to reborn in Mexican STT-77 Sports Car

by SpeedLux

A new project based on the sports car is being started under the leadership of well known Mexican businessman, Miguel Jimenez. The project is called as the SST-77 Sports Car project and recently some of its renderings have been released.

The images showed that the car has some relation with the Alpine A110 and Mexican version of Alpine A110 which was the Renault Dinalpin.

The new car will have a build of fiberglass, Kevlar and carbon fiber and it will be produced in a factory at Sahagun City, Mexico where the Dinalpin was originally built. The car will also feature a mid-engine design with two fog lights as in the original Alpine A110.

There have been no details revealed about the engine that would be fitted in the car. However as a matter of fact, Alpine A110 had aluminum-block Renault 16 TS engine which could generate 125 hp and could hit a top speed of 130 mph.

We will have to wait for further details to be released and we will keep you updated as soon as we come to know about it.
