Americans Get a Taste of the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Nighthawk

by SpeedLux

One of the world’s most luxurious automakers, Rolls-Royce, has now made an official announcement of its limited edition vehicle model dubbed the Phantom Drophead Coupe Nighthawk. As of the moment, the car enthusiasts in the North American market will be the first people lucky enough to test drive and actually take home one example of the vehicle from the British automaker.

Needless to say, this car is not just for every single person out there, it is a truly exclusive vehicle model. The British automaker claims that the car is designed for those who demand more than what the regular variant of the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe can possibly offer. As a matter of fact, this is the very reason why the bespoke division of the British company decides to build the Nighthawk. This special edition vehicle will be really exclusive as there will only be nine examples of them in the entire world. The car will take advantage of carbon fiber material as well, it is said.

Speaking of the carbon fiber material, Rolls-Royce will use it on the vehicle’s steering wheel spokes, dashboard and also door panels. In addition to that, the vehicle cabin will also get a 2-tone color theme that features black leather and Hotspur Red, as well as some carbon instrument dials.

According to the most recent reports, all vehicles will be sporting a Diamond Black metallic hue combined with a matte hue on its elegantly long engine hood. Under the hood, the vehicle will reportedly pack a 6.75L V12 engine. This engine is supposed to be capable of delivering 453 bhp and 719 Nm of power output and torque, respectively. Thanks to that, this special edition Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Nighthawk will be able to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds with its top speed achieving the mark of 241 km/h. By the way, adaptive LED headlamps are to come as standard as well on the vehicle.
