Ariel unveils a one-off Atom police car

by Max Richardson

Ariel together with Avon and Somerset Constabulary have teamed up for a one-off Atom PL Police car.

The Atom police car is based on the Atom 3.5R, featuring police livery, emergency lights and a siren.

This police cruiser clearly has no room for speeders or other individuals in trouble with the law is it is a two seater and it clearly is one of the fastest Police cars out there so don’t try to get away from it.

Power comes from a modified Honda-sourced 2.0-liter engine producing 350 hp that is good enough to take the lightweight Atom from 0-60 mph in just 2.5 seconds.

Don’t worry about seeing it on the roads in UK as it was created for the Safer Rider campaign which promotes motorcycle safety and will be used as a promotional vehicle.

Ariel is about to launch an all new Ariel motorcycle so this comes at the right time, reminding customers to be as safe as they possibly can be.
