Aston Martin Rapide S at Geneva Motor Show

Everyone is aware that Aston Martin is celebrating its 100 years of existence in the business and hence had promised some brand new releases in the ongoing Geneva Motor Show 2013. Aston Martin Rapide S is one of the releases of this year by the company and it is the fastest four-door Aston produced till now.

The car was actually unveiled around a month back but this was the first time the car was seen in Europe in the current event. The car has been given a new bonnet structure and seven new body panels. The car’s new Gen4 AM11 engine sits 19 mm lower in the chassis.

The Aston Martin Rapide S has 6.0 liter V12 engine with 550 hp generation capacity and a torque of 457 lb-ft. at 5,000 rpm. It can accelerate to 100 kmph in 4.7 seconds and the top speed is 190 mph. The ride has been made more interesting and enjoyable with three modes given for driving, Normal, Sport and Track.
