Audi will recall 850,000 diesel cars concerning update of emissions software

High-end auto maker Audi has launched a recall for approximately 850,000 diesel-fueled vehicles to upgrade vehicle software controlling emissions in a bid to prevent potential driving restrictions, it said on Friday.

The service is likewise being provided to Porsche- and Volkswagen– branded automobiles using the same six- and eight-cylinder engines, Audi stated.

The German government and automobile industry have actually agreed on a diesel rescue strategy to be presented early August, market and political sources informed Reuters.
