BMW M5 Cop Car Unveiled

Police have always been provided with state of the art cars to hunt down the criminals. this time makers BMW, turned out a Concept Car for the Police Personnel.

BMW has unveiled an M5 police car, which is at the Display at Welt Museum in Munich, Germany. It was developed in conjunction with a number of real law-enforcement vehicles that will be making their debut this month at the General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference in Leipzig, also in Germany.

If the Sources are to Believed then BMW will also display more police concept vehicles at the Leipzig event, including a police version of the i3 electric car.

Now coming to our car for the day BMW M5, Police Car,
It is Dressed up in traditional livery, the model has a black grille and a light bar.
Thankfully, the German speeders or anti social elements, will take a breathe of relief after reading this, that it is Just a Concept Car.

It is believed that most BMW police cars have been fitted with iDrive-controlled warning lights, LED identification lights and sirens straight from the factory.

But we need to tell you that, the BMW M5 is powered by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine that produces 560 PS (412 kW / 552 hp) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission which enables the sedan to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds and hit a top speed of top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) or 305 km/h (190 mph) with M Driver’s Package.

The fuel consumption is 9.9 liters/100 km on combined cycle (28.5 mpg) and CO2 emissions of 232 g/km.

The Active M Differential optimizes power transfer between the rear wheels ensuring the engine’s performance is transferred to the ground.

This car is an perfect car for Highway chases!
