BMW M2 M Performance Edition

BMW‘s dealership purchasing system appears to have leaked the upcoming M2 M Performance Edition before its formal introduction. Under the purchasing code ZL9, the 2017 BMW M2 M Performance Edition will be only offered to U.S. customers with a limited run of just 150 units.

Sadly, this isn’t really the reported BMW M2 CSL, however rather an M2 that’s been gently customized with BMW’s M Performance parts. Consisted of the M Performance Edition are manually adjustable sport seats, standard keyless entry, automated climate control, black mirror caps, black grill inserts, black side gills, M Performance lit up door sills, and LED door projectors.

In regards to performance parts, the BMW M2 M Performance Edition will receive an M Performance exhaust system with titanium exhaust pointers and an M Performance coilover suspension. Unlike the basic M2, the M2 M Performance Edition will only be available with a six-speed manual transmission. It will also be geared up with the M Driver’s Package, which ups the top speed to 168 miles per hour from the standard 155.

The BMW M2 M Performance Edition will also only be offered in Alpine White. Likewise leaked was the car’s cost of $61,695, a $11,000 boost over the standard M2. As we learn more about our 4 Seasons 2017 BMW M2, perhaps we’ll check out getting a few of these parts to for our.

Exactly what wasn’t detailed in leak was when the BMW M2 M Performance Edition will be striking car dealerships. However, knowing that it has already struck dealership ordering systems, we’re sure that BMW will release more details in coming days. BMW will reveal the M2 CSL soon too.
