BMW X3 M Renderings

by Alex

Complicated and beyond the thinking of the common man is just what seems to have been the highlight of BMW’s car making saga for quite a while now. There is the X6 and even the 5-Series GT to support this view and there is more in the near offing like the X3M as also the new version of F25 which is soon to be released.

Between the X3 and X5 which is in the SUV category of vehicles that BMW has to its credit the X3 which would be a more preferred vehicle than the X5. The X3 weighs just 3971 pounds and this is quite a many pound lesser than the X5. Lesser weight and volume gives the X3 added advantage of stopping as well as accelerate faster in addition to providing ease and flexibility at turns better than that on the X5. The X3 also has a better fuel economy than the X5 and the power to weight ratio of the X3M is indeed noteworthy.

The engine to be fitted on the X5 would be the N55 which by the way is the same engine unit that powers the M3. The unit is a turbocharged six cylinder engine. For transmission, the X3 would have a six speed automatic gear system.

Acceleration of the car is expected to be 0 to 60 mph in 5 seconds. The engine is supposed to produce 420 hp which could be lower than the power the engine of the X5 is developing, but for the size and dimensions of the X3 this power is good enough. The X5 would outmaneuver its bigger rivals especially at the corner. The car also comes with fatter tires and lower height.

BMW has proved its capability at each occasion to produce cars of quality and this one the X3 would sure be one of their quality lineage too.
