General Motors previously dedicated to introducing 20 new or renewed products by the year 2020 in China. Today, another automobile can be marked off the list.

Chevrolet revealed the next-generation Cruze hatchback would release in China next month, sharing the very same platform as its North American sibling. Chinese costumers must be delighted to know the Cruze hatchback reveals nearly 26 cubic feet of cargo area upon raising the rear hatch. With the seats folded flat, that figure leaps to 47 cubic feet.

When it comes to power, Chevrolet will provide a familiar 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. Although 3 transmission alternatives will be readily available consisting of a seven-speed dual clutch, a six-speed automated with start-stop system and a conventional six-speed manual transmission.

The Chevrolet Cruze has been a huge success since its beginning. Last year alone, 208,718 Cruzes were delivered globally.
