Chevrolet SS Replacement Is A Possibility

by SpeedLux

When General Motors verified that its Australian arm, Holden, would stop production in 2017 we presumed that we ‘d be stating out bye-byes to the low-volume Holden Commodore (our Chevrolet SS ). Would General Motors make space on another line of product, or move the vehicle onto the Alpha platform? For fans it would be enjoyable, however with sales figures less than 3,000 units a year in the United States business case appeared a little weak.

When it was asked to GM Chief Engineer Al Oppenheiser, who heads advancement of the Chevrolet Camaro along with the SS sedan, he appeared to told that expect the SS was not lost.

Oppenheiser, discussing Holden Handling Director Mark Reuss, stated, “If anyone comprehends exactly what we might do and if we might do it, it would be him. And I do not make those choices I support whatever the management takes a look at, and if there’s chance, we will take it. If there’s not, we would interact that.”
