Chris Harris pits the Porsche 911 Turbo S against a McLaren 12C

by SpeedLux

Chris Harris from DRIVE decided to do a comparison between the 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S and the McLaren 12C and he went ahead and released the video of the same.

Coming with a starting price of 141,000 GBP, Harris believes that the latest Turbo S is just too close in terms of pricing with proper super cars such as the MP4 which in this particular case comes at a price of 190,000 GBP which is significantly higher by around 50,000 GBP. Harris was of the opinion that a customer who goes to a McLaren dealership could buy one for less money and if you take financing in equation, the price gap between the two won’t be that much of a problem for someone with this kind of money.

As could be expected, the MP4 wins the drag race but nevertheless Chris says that the 2014 911 Turbo S is the fastest and most complete all-weather performance car he has ever driven. Well we can say that if for such a huge price difference, the compromise in terms of speed is not really a big thing and so according to us 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S is no less than a winner.
