Citroen DS5 Coupe renders hit the web – does it make any sense?

by SpeedLux

We know very well that there are many independent designers who love to create virtual car hodge-podges. Obviously, David Cardoso is also one of them and is no exception and so he has recently released his latest work which is a pretty complex coupe version of Citroen DS5.

True to his own style, the Belgian artist has turned the exclusive mid-size family car into a different category of a promising sports car but with a strange tail. But if you see it more deeply, you will think of it more as a higher ride two door big hatch with some MPV and SUV styling. Well that would sound a little awkward but that’s how it looks like.

David had mentioned about this project that it is “a mix of the design language of the latest DS models and the techno look of the new C4 Picasso”. All we have to say is that we agree with his statement and he has managed to confuse many rather than convince the car lovers.

But our question would be simple to Mr.David – does such a car really make sense?
