Daihatsu Motor Co. Ltd. is the oldest Japanese manufacturer of cars, known mostly for its smaller models and off-road vehicles. Many of its models are also known as kei jidosha (or kei cars) in Japan. Its headquarters is located in Ikeda, Osaka Prefecture.

The name “Daihatsu” is a combination of the first kanji for Osaka and the first of the word “engine manufacture” . Daihatsu was formed in 1951 as successor organization to Hatsudoki and, by the 1960s, had started exporting cars to Europe, although it did not enjoy any major sales success until well into the 1980s. Since February 1992 in North America, it has been common for Toyota to distribute Daihatsu models.

So coming back to our topic of the day, Daihatsu UFC Concept, whic was previewed at the Indonesian Motor Show, which kicked of on 20th of this month at Jakarta, along with this model, UFC, they are planning to launch 3 more concept cars.

The New Daihatsu UFC concept car, is believed to be developed by the Daihatsu’s subsidiary Indonesian company, Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) which kept in mind the need of domestic market. This Six Seater features a flexible seating-position system and a long wheelbase with short front and rear overhangs designed to maximise interior space.

For this year’s Indonesia’s International Motor Show, Daihatsu has adopted the slogan “Daihatsu is Best Friend of Life,” and will demonstrate Daihatsu’s corporate group attitude of offering vehicles suitable for Indonesian life using fuel-efficient, eco-friendly, and affordable technologies for compact cars.

From the Pictures it is clearly visible that there are no B-pillar because Daihatsu wanted to provide the passengers an easier way to get in and out of the car. Along with that, there are two micro-sized two-seat convertible concepts models 1) Daihatsu D-R, and 2) Daihatsu D-X.

Which expresses amusements, in refrence to the diffrent styling done on the same chasis. D-R is an Stylish and elegant looking car, whereas D-X is an tough and aggressive car.
they have rein Based body which are interchangable and it helps them to change the styling features of the car. This car has a two-cylinder engine with direct-injection turbo.

With this engine Daihatsu, has been able to procure a conventional technology stand, and has been able to produce a striking cord of balance between the joy of driving with best fuel efficiency, this vehicle is an example of oneness between a driver and the vehicle.

Talking about the bizzare looking concept van, “FC Showcase” from Daihatsu, which was prviewed at the Tokyo Motor Show last year, was developed as a zero-emission, next-generation mobility solution, which employed next generation liquid fuel cells that contains no precious metals. And with all that offering Daihatsu suggested and created new possibilities for compact cars as zero submission vehicle!
