Daimler Extends Connected Car Contract With Deutsche Telekom T-Systems

German automaker Daimler has extended a contract for Deutsche Telekom’s T-Systems to manage its connected auto services. The German telecoms operator stated that the deal deserved numerous millions of euros.

T-Systems connects over 2 million Daimler automobiles around the world via Daimler’s linked car platform, which offers services such as live traffic details, emergency call, remote control, and parking search functions. Deutsche Telekom refused to state the length of time the agreement extension was for.
