Dodge Challenger Hellcat spotted without camouflage

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat

This is strongly strange muscle vehicle. Professional photographers captured this Dodge Challenger out there testing with no camouflage. Initial glance looks like an SRT Demon, knowing that it has the very same widebody flares and front spoiler of the Challenger. The rear spoiler got an SRT Hellcat badge, and the wheels don’t originate from the kitty or the Hellspawn.

There are two theories regarding what this SRT might be. First is that this is possibly a next-generation Hellcat that takes advantage of a few of the Devil’s advancements. It could have a more powerful engine under the hood, possibly with the additional fuel pumps and air-conditioned intercooler, in addition to the Demon’s beefier driveline. It would be a strategy to keep the Hellcat pertinent, and a strategy for people who may miss out on the one-year-only Demon to obtain the next closest thing.

Other thought is that this is an all-wheel-drive Hellcat. The large fender flares and chin spoiler apparent on an all-wheel-drive Challenger before they made their way to the Demon. And with the intro of the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, we understand that Mopar has an all-wheel-drive system that can handle the grunt of the 707-horsepower Hellcat.

If an all-wheel-drive Hellcat remains in the cards, it would be another way to maintain the Hellcat line fresh without excessive investment, and would be a reward for lovers of the old all-wheel-drive concept.
