Italian-American automaker Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will recall 1,200 Jeep Compass sports utility vehicles (SUVs) sold in India, for replacing the front passenger air bag, stated FCA India.

The recalls belong to a larger recall by the automaker. For the same reason, automaker on Wednesday recalled 7,000 U.S.-market SUVs and 1,000 vehicles sold in Canada and Mexico.

During the air bag module assembly procedure, “loose fasteners may have accidentally discovered their way unnoticed into a small number of modules,” Fiat stated.

No injuries, accidents, warranty claims or other problems have been reported, the automaker stated.
