Ford has fully officially revealed the “Need for Speed” Mustang which will be the pace car for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season finale.

This one-off Mustang will also be the hero car of the one of the most anticipated Need for Speed movie that is set to reach theaters on March 14 next year. The car will be a pace car for the last race of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and it will be driven by Ramon Rodriguez who is one of the actors from Need for Speed.

Created specifically for the motion picture, the model comes equipped with features that include a wide body kit, bespoke 22-inch alloy wheels, a bigger lower front grille, beefy air intakes, low-profile mirrors, a new splitter and extended rocker panels, while the rear spoiler and diffuser were updated to provide better airflow.

The great thing about this model is that one would be able to virtually drive the special Mustang later this month if you purchase the latest installment in the Need for Speed franchise entitled “Rivals” available on the PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
