Galpin GTR1 makes video debut

by SpeedLux

The limited-run Galpin GTR1 was captured on camera at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance that concluded just recently.

The super car is based on the Ford GT and comes with a handcrafted aluminum body with features such that include LED-infused headlights, 20-inch rims wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires, along with a front lip spoiler made from carbon fiber. This particular car had a crazy blue interior theme with a machined aluminum instrument cluster, leather upholstery and a McIntosh sound system.

Under the hood, the Galpin GTR1 comes equipped with a V8 5.4-liter twin-turbo engine which can produce an output of massive 1,024 hp (763 kW) and 1,000 Nm (739 lb-ft) of torque. Galpin Auto Sports has claimed that the car will be able to do 0-60 mph (0-96 kmph) in just around 3 seconds before hitting a top speed in excess of 225 mph (362 kmph).

As mentioned earlier, the model would be a limited edition one and so only 6 to 24 cars will be made by the company. In terms of pricing, the model comes with a starting price of 1M USD. We have to say that it is quite expensive but for a limited edition model with such features, seems to be a fair deal!
