A German court turned down a complaint against Volkswagen brought by fish distributor Deutsche See which has taken legal action against the automaker over its diesel-test cheating.

Deutsche See stated in February it was suing the German automaker over deception for leasing diesel vehicles Volkswagen had said were eco-friendly, the first corporate case for the automaker in its home market since the emissions scandal broke in September 2015.

Deutsche See will talk to its lawyers about more actions, the company stated.

Volkswagen is dealing with a barrage of lawsuits from clients, investors and regulators concerning the diesel emissions scandal.
