Hennessey releases a teaser video and a picture for the Venom GT

by Ionut Dragomir

Finally Hennessey has given us a date when the Venom GT makes its official debut, along with teaser video and a picture. The Hennessey Venom GT supercar was first suppose to make its world debut earlier this month in Geneva, but reportedly due to a lack of floor space they missed the event and are now attending the New York Auto Show end of this month.

The Venom GT is based upon the Lotus Elise. The frame is two feet longer and a foot wider so it can accommodate the twin-turbo LS9 V8 engine.

Three engine setups will be offered: 725 bhp, 1000 bhp and 1200 bhp. Top version will hit 100 km/h(62 mph) in 2.2 seconds, and have a top speed of 420 km/h (262 mph).
