Honda has disclosed that the Civic has been the best-selling passenger car in Canada in the last 15 years.
Last year Honda Canada sold 64,962 cars as a whole and the Civic managed to surpass its closest rival by 14,012 cars.
As a result of this achievement, the Civic has become the number one passenger car in Canada for 15 years straight.
During the course of this period, Honda was able to deliver more than 1.7 million Civic units. The car has been built there for many years at its factory located in Ontario. Honda came to the Canadian International Autoshow in Toronto with the refreshed Civic which made its debut in late November at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
This is the proud moment for Honda in general and Honda Canada in particular since it has pipped its rivals to stay numero uno for the last fifteen years. To be adjudged the best selling passenger car is a great feat that has been achieved with the hard work and commitment from the Honda team.
