Honda releases upgraded Aviator, Dio, Activa

Honda has come up with upgraded version of Aviator, Dio and Activa. The Japanese automobile major unveiled the three upgraded versions of scooters and also announced of launching new two-wheelers every quarter.

Talking to the media on the inaugural day of its new technical centre at the Manesar Industrial Modern Township in the Indian city of Gurgaon, president of the Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India said the 2013 will excite customers with scooter’s speed as the country becomes global innovation hub for the company.

Spokesperson of the company said the Honda Eco Technology (HET) will be spearheading the global innovation of Honda.

The infrastructure of it combines integrated system of DEBQ i.e. Design, Engineering, Purchasing and Quality under same roof. It will be a boost to local development of superior quality vehicles at low cost. The set up will also be creating globally optimal operating system.

It is learned Honda may open the next unit in the Indian city of Bangalore in next financial year. The first similar unit of the company is in the Indian city of Rajasthan. It was built about a year ago.
