Honda’s new electric car understands ‘human emotions’

Honda has created a much better method to communicate with human beings: it has produced a electric car that it claims can feel emotions.

Called the ‘NeuV,’ the most recent automobile will be revealed at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas early 2017, as per a statement from the Japanese car manufacturer.

Automaker says that it is a “concept automated EV commuter car geared up with artificial intelligence (AI) called ’em otion engine’ that produces new possibilities for human interaction and the new value for consumers”.

“Utilizing the power of artificial intelligence, robotics and huge data to transform the movement experience, Honda today that ‘Cooperative Mobility Ecosystem’ will be the theme for its involvement at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas,” the company told.

Participants at the event will have access to a hands-on presentation of the vehicle, and automaker informs that it will be automatic and specifically created for commuters.

“Honda will include interactive and immersive experiences developed to showcase a future technology course towards a redefined mobility experience,” the company included.

Honda at first began the research project with SoftBank Corp in July to “open innovations of AI innovations to the ’em otion engine'”.

The procedure involved aiming for the vehicle to “make use of conversations with the driver, together with other details acquired from different sensors and cameras set up on the mobility item, both to view the feelings of the driver and to participate in dialogue with the driver based on the automobile’s own emotions”.
