Hyundai and Mitsubishi Recalling Specific Car Models

by SpeedLux

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration states Hyundai and Mitsubishi are recalling particular car models because of problems the companies suggest can increase the chances of crashes.

Hyundai is recalling 2013 models of the Elantra as the brake pedal stopper pad can degrade, a condition that might result in the brake light remaining on or the transmission shifting out of park without using the brake pedal. Over 64,500 cars are impacted by the recall.

Mitsubishi North America is currently recalling 2015-2016 models of the Outlander Sport and 2016 models of the Outlander and the Lancer. The automobiles have a constant speed transmission that can trigger a hold-up in acceleration in particular driving conditions. That recall impacts over 82,000 cars.
