Ken Block Unveils its New Ford Fiesta RS WRC HFHV [Video]

by Alex

As you probably know already, these days Ken Block competes in different forms of motorsport including WRC, Rallycross, and of course Gymkhana.

The insane versions of the Ford Fiesta for Ken Block’s Gymkhana and WRC are already mind-blowing, but it seems that this isn’t enough. This time the current WRC-Spec Ford Fiesta features a new hybrid function that works in conjunction with the engine.

This new version is called the Ford Fiesta RS WRC HFHV. It weighs just 2,755 pounds and turning out 600 horsepower and 665 pound-feet of torque from its boosted 2.0-liter engine, the car changes engine tune, suspension, and shoes as needed to fit each discipline.

For this Fiesta, the AWD system was designed and built by Sadev and features a 6-Speed sequential manual with three adjustable and mechanical differentials.

“The H.F.H.V. is the best of all worlds for me,” said Ken Block himself. “The current WRC Fiesta is the greatest handling car I have driven, but it lacks the sheer grunt that the 2.0L engine in the WRC Focus created. The H.F.H.V. brings those two things together, and the result is a manic beast that is just too much fun to drive.”
